Reaching out a helping hand
Our goal is to help bridge those who can’t see their family or friends to fight loneliness and help their mental health by providing pre-installed tablets to help them communicate; to see their family and most important be seen and heard.
Not everyone has the latest iPhone and routinely FaceBooks with friends. So we provide simple easy access, jargon free, tablets with Skype pre-installed and registered.
So its just a tap of a button and off they go!
Supporting
We are doing our best to support as much of the North East as we can.
While we are based in Sunderland, we aim to support as far as we can between Newcastle and Durham and as much of Tyne and Wear as we are able.
Availability
Multiple Tablets available between December 22nd and March 1st.
Safety
All tablets will be delivered sanitized and sealed and will be left with contactless delivery.
All information on how to use the tablets will be on the main screen for ease!
Communication
Pre-installed accounts for Skype on our tablets for ease of use.
We provide each tablet with a unique email address which can be provided to family and friends for quick and easy video or voice chats.
North East Re:Connect
is an HM Government and National Lottery Funded project by New Enterprise Studios cic, an Independent Production studio based in Sunderland. Created by a group of Filmmakers from the North, NE Studios aims to create a variety of creative projects over the next several years to help showcase the talent here in the North as well as support all aspects of the artistic community and their families.
